R Rule.ie

Privacy

This page sets out, plainly, what rule.ie does and doesn’t do with data as the site stands today.

Information about you

We don’t ask for or store any personal information about visitors. There are no accounts, logins or sign-up forms. The only way to get in touch is by email, if you choose to.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and collects no personal information — only anonymous, aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers and country.

Third parties

The site is served through a third-party hosting and content-delivery provider which, like any website host, receives the standard technical request data (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the page. Beyond that, the site runs on our own infrastructure — the analytics are self-hosted and the typeface is served from rule.ie itself — so no other third party receives your data.

The data shown on this site

Bills, members and votes come from the Houses of the Oireachtas open data, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Bill summaries are generated by AI and labelled as such on each bill.
